Liangyou Jiang
Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director

Mr. Jiang, age 53, was appointed as Senior Executive Vice-President of the Company on August 18, 2014 and an Executive Director on October 23, 2014. Mr. Jiang has served as a director of Tibet Jia Ertong Mining Development Co., Ltd., the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary since August 2014 and a director of Skyland Mining Limited, the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, since October 2014.  Mr. Jiang joined the Company in August 2010 as the General Manager of Tibet Huatailong Mining Development Corp. Ltd. ("Tibet Huatailong"), the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, and served as the Chairman of Tibet Huatailong from February2012 to August 2014.  In addition, Mr. Jiang served as Vice-President of CNG since July 2018, manager of Oversea Operation Department of CNG from December 2015 to July 2018, and Director of China National Gold Group Hong Kong Limited, CNG’s wholly-owned subsidiary, since October 2018.  Further, Mr. Jiang has been Chairman of Zhongji Mining Co., Ltd. since May 2015, Chairman and General Manager of China Gold Hong Kong Buchuk Mining Company Limited since October 2017, Chairman of Sino Mining Guizhou Pty since June 2017, Chairman of Soremi Investments Limited since January 2018, and a director of China Gold Hong Kong Holding Corp. Limited, an indirect subsidiary of CNG and Mundoro Mining Inc. since January 2015 and August 2014, respectively. Mr. Jiang has served as General Engineer of CNG since August 2014 and Head of Engineering Management Division of the Investment Management Department of CNG since September 2007. In February 2008, he was appointed as a Manager of the Investment Management Department of CNG. 

Prior to joining CNG’s headquarters, Mr. Jiang served as a General Manager of China Kazakhstan Mining Corp. Ltd., a subsidiary of CNG. From August 1987 to March 2005, Mr. Jiang worked at Changchun Gold Design Institute. He was appointed as a Chief Engineer of the Institute in February 2000 and then as Vice President and Chief Engineer of the Institute from April 2002. Mr. Jiang won more than 20 provincial-level scientific and technological achievement awards and numerous honorary titles from various agencies. In 2005, Mr. Jiang was awarded the special allowance by the State Council. Mr. Jiang is a Senior Professional Engineer, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in mineral processing from Northeastern University.

Jerry Xie
Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary

Mr. Xie is the Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary of China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd. (the “Company”) having joined the Company in March 2009. Mr. Xie is responsible for overseeing corporate secretarial matters and managing compliance for the Company’s listings on the Toronto Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He also plays an important role in business development, project evaluation, M&A process, investor relations, public relations as well as manages the Company’s daily operations in North America and Hong Kong. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Xie had over 25 years’ experience in project management and material & mechanical engineering in the petro-chemical and oil-sand industry.

After joining the Company, Mr. Xie was involved in the Company’s HK IPO process, Jiama mine evaluation, merger and acquisitions and the recent bond issuance.

Mr. Xie is an alternative director of The World Gold Council on behalf of China National Gold Group Co., Ltd.

Mr. Xie is a Professional Engineer with APEGGA and holds a master's degree in engineering from the University of Calgary, a master's degree in mechanical and mining engineering from the Beijing University of Science & Technology.

Lisheng Zhang
Vice President

Mr. Zhang joined the Company on September 12, 2008 as a chairman of Inner Mongolia Pacific Mining Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company, which owns and operates a gold mine (the “CSH Gold Mine”). Mr. Zhang’s knowledge of local culture of Inner Mongolia and his experience contributed to the rapid and sustainable development of CSH Gold Mine. Mr. Zhang will oversee the overall management of the CSH Gold Mine.

Derrick Zhang
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Zhang joined the Company on January 4, 2010 and serves as Chief Financial Officer responsible for the planning and management of the Company's accounting and financial reporting, since August 10, 2011. Mr. Zhang served as interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company from February 28, 2011 to August 10, 2011 and served as Controller of the Company from January 4, 2010 to February 28, 2011. Mr. Zhang has over 20 years of experience in financial reporting and engineering for public and private companies including experience leading financial reporting for mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Zhang was a financial and accounting supervisor and cost accountant for E-One Moli Energy (Canada) Ltd., an operating subsidiary of China Synthetic Rubber Corporation, a public company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, from May 2008 to December 2009 and September 2006 to November 2007, respectively. Mr. Zhang was a Financial Analyst for Teleflex (Canada) Ltd., an operating subsidiary of Teleflex Incorporated, a public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, from November 2007 to April 2008. Mr. Zhang was an accountant with Docuport Inc., a private technology company, from May 2005 to May 2006. From 1991 to 2001, Mr. Zhang worked as a mining and construction cost engineer in China and Singapore.

Mr. Zhang is a Certified General Accountant in Canada and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom. He is also a Member of the Society of Economic Geologists in United States. Mr. Zhang holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accountancy from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Geology from Southwest University of Science and Technology in China.

Shiliang Guan
Vice President

Mr. Guan joined Tibet Huatailong Mining Development Corp. Ltd. ("Tibet Huatailong"), the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, in November 2015, as Chairman of the Board, CPC Party Secretary and Legal Representative. On September 6, 2016 he was appointed as the Vice President of the Company. Prior to joining China Gold International, Mr. Guan served as Deputy Manager of the Production Technical Department of China National Gold Group Corporation from 2011 to 2014. He was also Chairman of the Board, CPC Party Secretary and Legal Representative of Inner Mongolia Baotou Xinda Gold Mining ("Xinda Mining") Co., Ltd from 2014 to 2015, where he was responsible for the overall production and operations at Xinda Mining. Prior to 2011, Mr. Guan also held senior positions at Jilin Haigou Mining Company, Shaanxi Dongtongyu Gold Mine of Zhongjin Gold Corporation Limited, Zhongjin Gold Corporation Limited, Tongguan Zhongjin Gold Mining Co., Ltd, Zhongjin Gold Corporation Limited, Songxian Jinniu Co., Ltd. and Jinding Mining.

Mr. Guan is a senior professional mining engineer and has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. Mr. Guan holds a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Northeastern University in China.

Zhongxin (Gerard) Guo
Chief Engineer

Mr. Guo was appointed as Chief Engineer of the Company in on November 13, 2018 Mr. Guo is a professional engineer with over 35 years' experience in engineering studies, mine engineering and mine operations. He has served as a senior mining engineer and director of technical services for the Company since 2014. Previously Mr. Guo held senior mining engineer positions with global mining engineering consulting companies, working on a variety of projects for a wide range of clients, including some of the world’s largest mining companies. He also held the position of engineering director with the Mine and Gold Branch, Changsha Engineering and Research Institute of Nonferrous Metallurgy, leading design and consultancy of key national and provincial / ministry projects in China. In addition, he also assumed responsibilities of leading China's strategic planning initiatives for development at new and existing nonferrous metals mines and smelters. Mr. Guo will serve as the Company's internal qualified person for purposes of National Instrument 43-101 of the Canadian Securities Administrators.
