December 6, 2017 CA Chinese 2017 Gold Starlight Gala
       

CA Chinese 2017 – Gold Starlight Gala (the “Gold Starlight Gala”) - a charity gala evening founded and organized by China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd (“China Gold” or the “Company”), was successfully held on December 6, 2017 at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver, BC.  As a Canadian-based, dual-listed company, and the only overseas listing vehicle of Chinese state-owned enterprise, China National Gold Group Co., Ltd, China Gold prioritizes its commitment to corporate social responsibility (“CSR”). This year, China Gold continued to support cancer prevention by financially sponsoring VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, specifically the “Hematology Research Program” and the “Pancreas Centre BC”.  In addition to the foregoing, China Gold extended the scope of its CSR initiatives to include environmental protection during mining operations through its support of two ongoing research projects – the first entitled “Treatment of Effluents from Artisanal Gold Mining and Investigation in the Bioavailability of Mercury Cyanide” led by University of British Columbia professors, Dr. Veiga and Dr. Marshall; and the second entitled “Arsenic release from arsenic-bearing minerals” being conducted in partnership with Professor Liu of the University of British Columbia, materials engineering department. 

China Gold’s continuous contribution to society and its focus on environmental protection through minimizing the negative impacts of mining has received high recognition and appreciation from the Canadian mainstream society and diplomatic envoys of China in Canada. Ms. Xiaoling Tong, the new Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Vancouver and Mr. Shanjun Yu, Consul, Chief of Economic & Commercial Office of the Chinese Consulate General in Vancouver, together with their esteemed colleagues, attended the Gold Starlight Gala.  The Company received congratulatory letters from the municipal, provincial and federal levels of the Canadian government. During the Starlight Gold Gala, China Gold commemorated each of the Company’s CSR initiatives by signing collaboration agreements, witnessed by the Consul General, Chief of Economic & Commercial Office of the Chinese Consulate General in Vancouver, and the Company’s independent directors. All parties expressed high recognition of China Gold’s efforts in Corporate Social Responsibility.

March 25, 2017 Tibet Huatailong receives “The National Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievements Award”
       

China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd. (TSX: CGG; HKEx: 2099) (CGG) is pleased to announce that on March 25, 2017 Tibet Huatailong Mining Ltd., the wholly-owned subsidiary of China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd. and the operator of Jiama Mine, received “The National Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievements Award”. On March 25, the 23rd national enterprise management modernization innovation achievements were released on the 2017 National Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Conference in Beijing. 

Huatailong received the second prize of the innovation achievements award for its “Digital Mining Management at High Altitude and Complex Geological Mine”, and became the first enterprise in Tibet Autonomous Region receiving this honor.

The “National Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievements Award” is a national level recognition under the guidance of China Enterprise Confederation, Enterprise Reform Bureau of SASAC, Industrial Policy Department of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and SME Bureau.

As one of the first “integration of information and industrialization management system pilot enterprises” in China and first “integration of information and industrialization" pilot enterprise in Tibet, Huatailong implemented the following measurements at the high altitude mine site to realize the digital management: 1) improved the accuracy and reliability of measurement and geological work by creating an open pit grade control system; 2) established production management mechanism for plateau mine enterprises according to geographical conditions at high altitude and cold area by using three-dimensional digital standardized operating procedures; 3) optimized database management of geological measurement by the secondary development and creation of three-dimensional digital geographic models; 4) crated a variety of new capabilities to realize the target of integrating information and industrialization, such as fine exploitation of mineral resources, large-scale automated processing and etc..

March 16, 2017 A delegation led by Mr. Pema Wangdu, Member of Standing Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region and secretary of Lhasa municipal Party committee visited Jiama Mine
       

March 16, a delegation led by Mr. Pema Wangdu, Member of Standing Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region and secretary of Lhasa Municipal Party committee, visited Jiama Mine. They were accompanied by Mr. Wang Ping, General of Tibet Huatailong ("HTL"), the subsidiary of the Company and the operator of the Jiama Mine, and by other representatives from from Lhasa government.

Wang Ping welcomed the delegation on behalf of Mr. Song Xin, Chairman of China Gold International (the "Company" or "CGG"), Liu Bing, CEO of CGG and Guan Shiliang, Chairman of HTL. The delegation visited the milling and flotation workshop of Plant I, central control room, Plant II of the Company.

Wang Ping briefed the delegation on the company's history and current operation. Then he answered questions from Pema on employee welfare, community relations, and the Company's resource base. Pema was highly satisfied with the inspection result. He praised the Company's economic and social achievements and acknowledged its contribution to local economy. In his remarks he pointed out three specific requirements: keeping committed to a high standard of operation safety; maintaining strict rules on environment compliance; and continuing sharing benefits with local communities.
