Mr. Xin Song, CEO of China Gold International Resources, receives prestigious recognition by China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association

VANCOUVER, December 21, 2012 - China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd. (TSX: CGG; HKEx: 2099) is pleased to announce that on December 12, 2012, Mr. Xin Song, the Company's CEO, was awarded as one of the "Influential Figures of Chinese Non-ferrous Metals Industry in 2012" by China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Association, the most influential national non-profit organization in the PRC which represents the interests of non-ferrous industry players.

The award recognizes Mr. Song's achievements in the reorganization of resources, international strategy, market development, technological innovation and fulfilling corporate social responsibilities since he became the CEO of China Gold International Resources in 2009.
